Mardi Gras is a week long celebration, in New Orleans, that culminates on Fat Tuesday! It is known as “The Greatest FREE Show On Earth” and is definitely a spectacle to behold! However, if you can make it down to New Orleans, at least you can celebrate with a Mardi Gras recipe, like my Fat Tuesday Jello Cups!

Mardi Gras Recipe: Fat Tuesday Jello Cups
Normally, you hear about people eating King Cake and “finding the baby” on Fat Tuesday, but I decided to change it up a little bit. This Mardi Gras recipe is completely kid-friendly! (But, I won't judge you if you turn it into an adult only layered dessert. *wink wink*)
Making the Fat Tuesday Jello Cups:
You'll need:

- Lime, Grape and Lemon Jello. (You can substitute sugar-free as well)
- 6 clear, plastic cups.
- Whipped Cream
- Colored Sprinkles or Candies. (I used Sprees, but you could use skittles)
Layering this Mardi Gras recipe:

Prepare the Grape Jello according to the instructions on the package, pour it into the 6 cups equally and then, chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
Prepare the Lemon Jello according to the instructions on the package, pour it into the 6 cups equally and then, chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
Prepare the Grape Jello according to the instructions on the package, pour it into the 6 cups equally and then, chill in the fridge for 2 hours.

Once they are completely layered and chilled. You can take them out of the fridge, top them with some whipped cream and candies and then, you can serve them to your Mardi Gras Patrons!



Fat Tuesday Jello Cups
Ingredients
- 1 box Grape Jello
- 1 box Lemon Jello
- 1 box Lime Jello
