Fall is in the air and that means Halloween is on the way! I have always loved Halloween and all of the costumes, decorations and treats that go with it! Speaking of treats, I have a super easy and fun Halloween treat that anyone can make. Check out these Quick N Cute Graham Cracker Ghosts!
Now, I am definitely not a Pinterest perfect mom, but I do love creating fun treats for my kids. ESPECIALLY, on Halloween. I mean, seriously, who doesn't love a fun Halloween treat?!
These Quick N Cute Graham Cracker Ghosts are such a fun and delicious yet super easy Halloween treat that anyone can make!
All you need is:
Graham Crackers
White Candy Melts or Vanilla Almond Bark
Mini Chocolate Chip Morsels (you could also use candy eyes, for a fun switch up!)
To make them:
Carefully break apart graham crackers at perforations to make four strips from each cracker.
Melt the candy coating according to package directions giving special care not to overheat the candy. If the candy coating is overheated, it will be too thick. You can add 2 teaspoons of vegetable shortening to help thin the candy but do not add any other type of liquid as the candy will seize and harden.
Using a small spoon, drop some candy coating on each graham cracker piece. Tap the graham cracker with your finger or a clean utensil to help the candy coating move into a smooth, ghostly shape.
Insert two mini chocolate chip morsels for eyes.
Allow candy coating to harden before serving.
You can store these, at room temperature, in an airtight container. Storing these in the fridge may cause the graham crackers to soften.
You could also place these in little cellophane treat bags, to give out to friends and neighbors!
